HARRIET TUBMAN: PORTALS THROUGH TIME
This photo exhibit displays the Underground Railroad path Harriet Tubman took to her various homes, the churches that she started, and reviews her life after the Civil War as a suffragette.  In addition to photos, the exhibit includes an actual quilt made by a woman born in the late 1800's and actual shackles for view.  As we move forward in time, we present Senatros and Representatives from the Recontruction Era, suffragettes, and many of the black women cornerstones of American history. The full photo exhibit is presented on 20 easels and requires about 40 feet of space.
